Tel Aviv Car & Van Hire

All drivers must meet our minimum age requirements and present a valid photo drivers license written in English and if not English must have an international drivers license and a valid passport. All location policies that apply to the renter will also apply to the additional driver. Additional authorized driver fee- 3.00 USD per day -max 50.00 USD per rental. If additional drivers do not have a Tourist visa the rental will have a charge for VAT of 17 percent.

ALL RENTERS MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE AND PRESENT A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE THAT HAS BEEN IN EFFECT FOR A MINIMUM OF TWO, 2, YEARS, A MAJOR CREDIT CARD IN HIS OR HER OWN NAME AND VALID PASSPORT. RENTERS AGE 21-24 MAY RENT MINI, ECONOMY, COMPACT, INTERMEDIATE AND STANDARD CARS ONLY. THERE WILL BE AN UNDERAGE FEE ASSESSED IN THE AMOUNT OF 17 USD PER DAY, 62 NIS. IN ADDITION, DEDUCTIBLES FOR ALL RELEVANT COVERAGES WILL BE DOUBLED FOR DRIVERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 21-24. FEE FOR UNDER AGE DRIVER IS NOT ADDED TO TOTAL PRICING AT THE TIME OF RESERVATION.

CDWTP – Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection- available for purchase at the rental counter only.  Provides comprehensive coverage for third party property liability, theft of the vehicle and damage or total loss of the vehicle due to an accident, whether caused by the renter or as a result of damage caused by a third party. Coverage does not include damage to the undercarriage and tires of the vehicle for which the renter is fully responsible. This coverage is not valid outside the borders of the state of Israel, Tabah and territories of the Palestinian authority. Loss of personal belongings is not covered. There may be other exclusions, further information is available at the Enterprise rental counter. The cost of this coverage varies by car group.

EP- Excess Protection – Available for purchase at the rental counter only, removes excess from CDWTP – provides full coverage except for damage to the undercarriage and tires of the vehicle for which the renter is fully responsible. Coverage is not valid outside the boarders of the state of Israel, Tabah and territories of the Palestinian authority. Loss of personal belongings is not covered. One way rentals are allowed between Enterprise and specific city locations in Israel, except Eilat, without a drop charge or minimum day rental. Please check at the rental counter upon arrival for complete one-way rental information. For one way rentals that drop off or originate in EILAT the vehicle must be rented for 3 or more days in order for the drop fee to be waived. If the vehicle is rented for less than 3 days a drop charge of 190.00 USD will apply.

REFUELING CHARGES- VEHICLES ARE RENTED WITH A FULL TANK AND MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION. IF THE VEHICLE IS RETURNED WITH LESS THAN A FULL TANK OF FUEL, THE RENTER WILL BE CHARGED FOR THE DIFFERENCE AT THE FUEL MARKET PRICE PER LITER WHICH INCLUDES A 20 PERCENT ADDITIONAL SERVICE CHARGE. VAT WILL APPLY ONLY FOR ISRAELI CITIZENS, KNOWN AS CITIZENS BY THE LAW OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL. TOURISTS WITH NO ISRAELI CITIZENSHIP DO NOT INCUR VAT.

LDW - LIABILITY DAMAGE WAIVER – available for purchase at the rental counter only. Liability damage waiver is a compulsory insurance mandated by the laws of the state of Israel. LDW covers personal injury and death for the driver of the car, passengers in the car and third parties. It does not cover damage to the vehicle or third party property. The cost of this coverage varies by car group.

 TWP – TIRES AND WINDSHIELD PROTECTION – available for purchase at the rental counter only. Provides coverage for the theft and damages to tires and windshields. The cost of this coverage varies by car group.

All coverage protection products in Israel CDWTP ,collision damage waiver and theft protection,LDW1, liability damage waiver, EP, excess protection and TWP, tires and windshield protection, are available for purchase at the rental counter only. Israel coverage protection products are not available for purchase at the the time of reservation.

Cross border policy -rental vehicles may not be driven beyond the borders of the state of Israel and the areas of autonomy outlined as area A in the agreement signed between the state of Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Additional information will be provided at the time of rental.

ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT- CREDIT CARDS AMEX, DINERS, MASTER CARD, AND VISA ARE ACCEPTED. SECURITY DEPOSITS, SD- FOR EACH RENTAL A CREDIT CARD, VISA, MASTERCARD, DINERS, AND AMEX, IS REQUIRED AND A DEPOSIT WILL BE HELD FOR THE ESTIMATED AMOUNT OF THE RENTAL PLUS A SECURITY DEPOSIT, DEPENDENT ON THE VEHICLE TYPE, WILL BE AUTHORIZED ON THE CUSTOMERS CREDIT CARD AT THE TIME OF RENTAL. THE MINIMUM AUTHORIZATION IS 700 USD. CASH AND DEBIT CARDS- DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED. CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR THE DEPOSIT, HOWEVER, CASH IS AN ACCEPTED FORM OF PAYMENT UPON RETURN OF THE VEHICLE.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROTECTION- ELDAN-ENTERPRISE OFFERS ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AT ALL STATIONS ALL AROUND ISRAEL. IN THE EVENT OF A BREAKDOWN THIS SERVICE IS FREE. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ALSO OFFERS SERVICES IN CASE OF- FLAT TIRE, LOCKOUT, FUEL DELIVERY, AND KEY REPLACEMENT– COSTS MAY VARY BETWEEN INCIDENTS. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE IS VOID AND OF NO EFFECT IF, AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT REQUIRING ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE, THE RENTER OR AUTHORIZED DRIVERS ARE IN VIOLATION OF THE RENTAL AGREEMENT AND RENTAL TERMS PROVIDED TO THE RENTER AT THE ELDAN-ENTERPRISE RENTAL COUNTER, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE PROHIBITED USES AND VIOLATIONS SET FORTH THEREIN. IN SUCH CASES, ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WILL BE AVAILABLE BUT STANDARD CHARGES WILL APPLY. ELDAN-ENTERPRISE RENTAL LOCATIONS DO NOT PROVIDE DIRECT ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO THE CUSTOMER. THIS ASSISTANCE IS PROVIDED BY ELDAN ON BEHALF OF ENTERPRISE. THIS SERVICE IS AVAILABLE 24 HOUR 7 DAYS A WEEK BY CALLING 03-9773400 OR ASTERISK 3003.

All drivers must be at least 21 years of age to rent.  Drivers aged 21-24,

under age may rent Economy, Compact, Intermediate and Standard cars only. There is a fee charged for under age drivers that varies by vehicle type. The additional fee will be added at the counter.
All drivers must present a picture drivers license, written in English that has been in effect for a minimum of two -2 - years. If the license is not written in English, the renter must produce an International Drivers License. All drivers must produce a valid Passport. All drivers must present a major credit card in their own name at the time of rental.
Liability Damage Waiver –LDW is mandatory and must be purchased at the rental counter or in advance. The charge for LDW varies depending on vehicle type. The additional fee will be added at the counter.
There is a mandatory airport fee of 29.00 USD per rental assessed at all airport locations.
-Israeli citizens, Israeli Passport holders and B2-B3-B4 non-tourist visa holders pay 17.00 Percent VAT.
